Government Security Classifications. All Lincolnshire Police information is classified in line with the Government Security Classifications (GSC). In order to ensure that the same protection is afforded to Lincolnshire Police data once it has been disclosed to a partner agency, the partner organisation should handle, store and delete police data according to the Government Security Classifications. The table below provides further guidance on the GSC. Organisations that already have security procedures in place that afford data the same protection as the GSC controls should apply the same regulations to data disclosed by Lincolnshire Police or any other partner organisation. Transmitting information securely When sharing information both the sender and the receiver should deal with the information according to its protective marking. See Government Security Classifications table below for handling requirements in line with information classification. Any e-mail or attachment containing personal data must be sent via a secure encrypted e-mail system. Where the partner does not have access to a secure encrypted e-mail system, the information must be encrypted via some other means, such as Windows password encryption, and the password sent via other means, such as telephone.

Government Security Classifications. Emails used to share Personal Data under the terms of this Agreement will be marked OFFICIAL or equivalent and will only be sent between secure email addresses. Any personal data shared which could have more damaging consequences (for individuals, an organization or government generally) if it were lost, stolen or published in the media should be marked OFFICIAL: SENSITIVE in accordance with the latest Government Security Classifications. Electronic media must be securely disposed of when no longer required. Breaches of security, confidentiality and other violations of this agreement will be reported in line with each Participant’s incident reporting procedures.
Government Security Classifications. Organisations complying with Public Service Network (PSN) Agency terms and conditions should classify and where appropriate mark documents and files in accordance with HMG Government Security Classifications April 20143 (as amended from time to time).

  • U.S. Government Users The Software is a “commercial item” consisting of “commercial computer software” and the Product Documentation is a “commercial item” consisting of “commercial computer software documentation,” as such terms are used in 48 C.F.R. 2.101 and 48 C.F.R. 12.212. Under 48 C.F.R. 12.212 and 48 C.F.R. 227.7202-1 to 227.7202-4, U.S. Government Users acquire the Software and Product Documentation only with the rights set forth therein.

  • GOVERNMENT PROPERTY (a) Company may furnish to Seller property as may be required for performance of work under this Agreement, or have Seller acquire such property as mutually agreed. Title to property furnished or acquired shall vest in the Government, and hereafter be referred to as "Government property." If Seller purchases property for which it is entitled to be reimbursed as a direct item of cost, title shall pass to the Government upon delivery of the property to Seller. Title to all other property, the cost of which is reimbursable to Seller, shall pass to the Government upon the earliest of (1) issuance of property for use in performance, (2) processing property for use in performance, or (3) reimbursement of cost of property. Title shall not be affected by the incorporation or attachment to any property not owned by the Government, nor shall any Government property become a fixture or lose its identity because it is affixed to any realty.
