GOVERNMENT FURNISHED MATERIAL. Government Furnished Material (GFM) cited in work specification(s) and/or Statement of Work (SOW) will be shipped to the contractor’s facility. The successful offeror is to coordinate delivery of GFM with the Project Manager. Government property permanently removed from a vessel that requires a Property Administrator’s disposition instructions shall be properly prepared for shipment and be delivered as direct by the Property Administrator. GFM will be listed in paragraph 5 of Work Item(s).

GFM will be listed in paragraph 5 of the Work Item(s). The successful offeror warehouse that receives GFE is required have a DODAAC number. Department of Defense Activity Address Code (DoDAAC) is a six position code that uniquely identifies a Department of Defense unit, activity, or organization that has the authority to requisition, contract for, receive, have custody of, issue, or ship DoD assets, or fund/pay bills for materials and/or services. The first positions of the code designate the particular Service/Agency element of ownership.
GOVERNMENT FURNISHED MATERIAL. The Government will furnish the material described in Attachment J, Annex 1700000, SPEC Item 2.4.4 to the Contractor on a one-time basis. The Contractor and the Contracting Officer shall conduct a joint inventory before commencing work to determine the exact amount and serviceability of Government-furnished materials. The Contractor shall then certify the findings of this inventory, assume accounting responsibility for all materials accepted for use, and provide documentation supporting issue/use of such material. Upon depletion of material provided to the Contractor by the Government, the Contractor shall furnish all material to perform the work of the contract, except as otherwise specified herein. Upon completion or termination of this contract a second joint inventory shall be conducted, if necessary, of all unused Government-furnished materials. The Contractor shall be held liable for all materials which cannot be accounted for by issue/use documentation.
GOVERNMENT FURNISHED MATERIAL. 7.2.17.1 The PMP shall describe the Contractor’s arrangements for the receipt, custody, storage, care, maintenance and use of any Government Furnished Material (GFM) provided to the Contractor under the Contract.
