Golden Days. A Reserve Flight Attendant may request that up to two (2) of her/his day(s) off be designated as Golden. Such request will be submitted on the electronic form provided by the Company. The window for submitting the request will open at the time final awards are published and will close at noon two (2) days later. Requests will be considered based on operational needs, and be awarded in seniority order. If a Flight Attendant does not receive her/his requested Golden Days, the Golden Days will be designated by the Company. The Golden Days will be awarded by the 27th of the month prior at 1700. If the 27th falls on a weekend, the award will be published no later than 1200 on the next business day. Nothing herein prevents a Flight Attendant, at her/his sole option, from picking up open time on her/his Golden Day(s). If a Flight Attendant returns to domicile after 0200 on a Golden Day due to operational reasons, the day which is restored in accordance with paragraph C.3., above, will also be a Golden Day.
Golden Days. 46.6.1 A pilot may request the Company to pre-allocate up to two “Golden Leave” days each Calendar year.

  • Snow Days ‌ If an employee, after good faith efforts, is unable to report to work for their scheduled duty period because of weather conditions, the employee may utilize paid time off.

  • Furlough Days A furlough day is defined as a day during the fiscal year on which employees do not report to work and are not paid. Furloughs are designed to address temporary emergency financial circumstances that threaten the financial well- being of the institution. Therefore, the President, with approval of the Board of Trustees, may temporarily place all bargaining unit eligible employees on leave without pay status when the state does not fully fund the base operating grant in any particular fiscal year. The Board shall approve the duration and dates of the furlough, after notifying the Union of the State’s failure to fund the base operating grant necessitating the need for furlough days. Employees shall be given at least 30 days’ notice of a furlough. No more than 5 furlough days shall fall within the same pay period. If the Board implements more than 10 furlough days in a fiscal year, the College shall not implement a reduction in force for unit members during the same fiscal year. If after furlough days have been implemented, the College receives full funding of the State base operating grant in a particular fiscal year, unit members who had unpaid furlough days during that year and remain employed with the College shall be reimbursed for their lost earnings due to the unpaid furlough days.

  • Vacation Days Employee shall be entitled to the same paid vacation days each calendar year during the term of this Employee Agreement as authorized by the Company for its other employees.

  • Lieu Days Where an employee is granted a lieu day pursuant to Clause 17.3 or 17.4 of this Agreement, the time off granted will be seven (7) hours per lieu day for a full-time employee and prorated for a part-time employee.

  • Association Days The Association shall be provided a total of twenty-two (22) days during the school year of released time to conduct Association business with a maximum of seven (7) used on any given day.   • Excess Travelling Time As well as the above-mentioned Fares allowance, excess travelling time is payable if the work site is beyond 50 kilometres from the workshop or registered office. Where an employee is required to travel to a job site outside the 50 kilometres from the Employer’s registered office or depot the employee will be paid the following: • A payment for time travelled in excess of the 50 kilometres with a minimum payment of a quarter of an hour.
