GIS Specialist. Xxxxxx assessed the internal condition of 14,370 lf of existing 60- and 66-inch diameter sanitary sewer pipes, 500 access manholes and 1,500 manhole ring and cover elevation grades around the City of Xxxxxxxx according to NASSCO PACP and MACP procedures. Traditional analog CCTV camera equipment was used to investigate the pipe interior due to the lighting requirements necessary for larger pipe diameters. Assessment of condition was performed on manholes within lateral pipes directly upstream of large diameter collector pipes due to the accumulation point for corrosive H2S gas. Automated data collection systems were developed using GIS tablet technology with standardized drop-down data entry for consistency and ease of data transfer. The format of data collected transferred directly into the asset management software to enhance accuracy.
