Geophysical Surveys. During the performance of exploration activities, the Contractor shall send to the Minister reports of the geophysical surveys where magnetic, gravity, seismic and other systems are used to detect or indicate the presence of petroleum.

Geophysical Surveys. 11.7.2.1 In order to achieve 100% survey coverage of the study area a combination of new and archive data was used where appropriate. The data reviewed was from the geophysical surveys undertaken for Hong Kong Section of Hong Kong - Zhuhai - Macao Bridge and Connection with North Lantau Highway EIA (HK Section of HZMB) (now renamed as the Hong Kong Link Road) and some project specific surveys. The scope of these surveys is shown in the Figure 11.12.

Geophysical Surveys. The surveys needed for data acquisition by the gravimetric, magnetometric and seismic methods, either for surveys carried out onshore or offshore. The units of measurement for these works are the following: Gravimetric: km, Magnetometric: km, Seismic: 2D – km, 3D – km2; 1.2-GEOCHEMICAL SURVEYS: Are the surveys required for the acquisition of onshore or offshore geochemical data, in surface or subsurface (Oil Slick, Piston Core, etc.). The field for the unit of measurement of these works will be completed in accordance with the type of work performed; 1.4-OTHER SURVEYS relate to any other type of survey not specified in other items, such as: GPR (Ground Penetrated Radar), VSP (Vertical Seismic Profile), etc. The units will be those corresponding to each type of survey; ACQUISITION: When any one of the surveys cited above is purchased from a Data Acquisition Company (EAD), the so-called "Spec" data, they must be specified between brackets beside the specification of the survey.

Geophysical Surveys. The contractor will execute geophysical surveys at or near the community. The geophysical surveys will be executed by performing Electrical Resistivity Soundings at each location set out in profiles until a suitable location has been found.

Geophysical Surveys. These surveys will consist of multibeam sonar (MBES), side-scan sonar (SSS), marine magnetometer (MAG), and sub-bottom profiling (SBP). Surveys will take place at two main areas in FPS as well as the ODMDS sites. The “State Frying Pan Shoals”, “Federal Frying Pan Shoals” and ODMDS sites are each surveyed for complete coverage MBES and SSS along with (100ft) 30m spaced MAG and a grid of SBP data.

Surveys Each Borrower shall submit the Ship owned by it regularly to all periodical or other surveys which may be required for classification purposes and, if so required by the Security Trustee provide the Security Trustee, with copies of all survey reports.
Geotechnical 19 The A/E as required shall review past pavement, soil 20 and geology investigations, discuss past findings as 21 impacting the subject roadway project, and independently 22 perform design-needed geotechnical services including 23 development and implementation of a field investigation plan 24 involving any field data collection as deemed necessary, 25 development of a laboratory testing program to conduct soils 26 surface and subsurface characterization tests as applicable 1 to the needs of the project, development of seismic analysis 2 and design criteria in accordance with code requirements, 3 development of pavement condition studies to provide 4 recommendations concerning life cycle costs and 5 rehabilitation/reconstruction methods, and recommendations 6 for the design of foundations, embankment and excavation 7 procedures, settlement analysis, lateral, active, and passive 8 earth pressures, de-watering, landslide mapping, slope 9 stabilization, soil corrosion, erosion, sedimentation control 10 and other applicable design criteria as deemed necessary.
Survey Buyer may obtain a survey of the Property before the Closing to assure that there are no defects, encroachments, overlaps, boundary line or acreage disputes, or other such matters, that would be disclosed by a survey ("Survey Problems"). The cost of the survey shall be paid by the Buyer. Not later than business days prior to the Closing, Buyer shall notify Seller of any Survey Problems which shall be deemed to be a defect in the title to the Property. Seller shall be required to remedy such defects within business days and prior to the Closing. If Seller does not or cannot remedy any such defect(s), Buyer shall have the option of canceling this Agreement, in which case the Xxxxxxx Money shall be returned to Buyer.
Engineering Forest Service completed survey and design for Specified Roads prior to timber sale advertisement, unless otherwise shown in A8 or Purchaser survey and design are specified in A7. On those roads for which Forest Service completes the design during the contract, the design quantities shall be used as the basis for revising estimated costs stated in the Schedule of Items and adjusting Timber Sale Account. Forest Service engineering shall be completed according to the schedule in A8. Should Forest Service be unable to perform the designated survey and design by the completion date or other agreed to time, upon written agreement, Purchaser shall assume responsibility for such work.
