Geographical Displacement. When organizational changes result in geographical displacement of a unit member, the department head shall establish criteria for the selection of unit members to be relocated based on his/her determination of the needs of the department. The department head shall consider such job related factors as he/she deems appropriate including, but not limited to, experience in the particular work, length of service in the class and special skills possessed by unit members. The County shall discuss these criteria with the Union before selecting unit members for displacement.

The County shall discuss these criteria with the Union before selecting workers for transfer. When there are no volunteers, any doctor may be assigned to provide such relief.
