Common use of General Services Clause in Contracts

General Services. 2.1.1 Design-Builder’s Representative shall be reasonably available to Owner and shall have the necessary expertise and experience required to supervise the Work. Design-Builder’s Representative shall communicate regularly with Owner and shall be vested with the authority to act on behalf of Design-Builder. Design-Builder’s Representative may be replaced only with the mutual agreement of Owner and Design-Builder.

During the Construction Phase, Design-Builder’s Representative or Superintendent shall be reasonably available to Owner at the Site at all times when work is being performed, and shall have the necessary expertise and experience required to properly supervise the Work. Design-Builder’s Representative shall communicate regularly with Owner and shall be vested with the authority to act on behalf of Design-BuilderBuilder as to all matters. Design-Builder’s Representative may only be replaced only with the mutual agreement of Owner and Design-Builder.
