General Principles and Guidelines. 62.1.Disarmament is the collection, documentation, control, and disposal of small arms, ammunition, explosives, and light and heavy weapons from combatants. They are often collected from civilians as well. Disarmament also includes responsible program development and management of weapons.

Compliance with the Design Guidelines does not relieve the Design Professional from any of its responsibility.
