General Conditions Work. If requested by the Owner in writing, the Construction Manager will perform all or a portion of the General Conditions Work for the cost of that Work.

General Conditions Work. “ General Conditions Work” or “GC Work” means that portion of the Work required to support construction operations at the job site that is not included within overhead or general expense, and not otherwise included in or excluded from the Cost of the Work in Article 8 or Article 9, including the cost of expenses of Contractor’s offices at the job site (e.g. job trailer), telephone calls, communication devices, computers, software, vehicle cost, postage and parcel delivery charges, telephone service at the Project site and reasonable xxxxx cash expenses of the CM/GC’s office at the Project site, which are solely for the benefit of the Work and wages or salary of personnel at or below the level of Senior Project Manager stationed at the Project site. Salaries and other compensation of the CM/GC’s personnel stationed at the CM/GC’s principal offices or offices other than the CM/GC’s office at the Project site and the expenses of the CM/GC’s principal offices and offices other than the Project site office are not included in General Conditions Work and are governed by Article 9, Sections 9.1.1, 9.1.2, and Article 8, Sections 8.2.2 and 8.2.3.
