The Borrower shall cause the Project Executing Agency to ensure that the gender inclusive elements are implemented in a timely manner over the Project period, and that adequate resources are allocated for this purpose. The Borrower shall ensure or cause the Project Executing Agency Agencies to ensure that the Project considers gender inclusive elements are implemented in a timely manner over issues at all appropriate stages of the Project periodparticularly during design, and that adequate resources are allocated the Project will be carried out in accordance with ADB's Policy on Gender and Development (1998) and the Gender Action Plan developed for this purpose. Specific gender-related activities undertaken during Project implementation shall be reported in the Safeguards Monitoring ReportProject.

The Borrower shall cause the Project Executing Agency to ensure that measures in accordance with (i) the gender inclusive elements are implemented in a timely manner over the Borrower’s applicable laws, policies and regulations on gender; and (ii) ADB's Gender Policy will be incorporated into all Follow-on Project period, designs and that adequate resources these measures are allocated for this purposeincorporated if or when the Follow-on Project is financed in whole or in part by ADB.
