Common use of Future Adjustments Clause in Contracts

Future Adjustments. In the event of any merger, acquisition, disposition or other corporate event affecting the Company during the Performance Period, the Committee, in addition to adjustments under Section 12.2 of the Plan, may make such adjustments to the applicable Metric performance amounts and levels set forth in Section 2 above as it may determine would most nearly carry out the original purposes and intent of this Award Agreement.

Future Adjustments. In the event of any merger, acquisition, disposition or other corporate event affecting the Company or any peer company during the Performance PeriodCycle, the Committee, in addition to adjustments under Section 12.2 of the Plan, Committee may make such adjustments to the applicable Metric performance amounts peer group of companies, the total return calculations of the affected companies, and levels the metrics set forth in Section 2 above as it may determine would most nearly carry out the original purposes and intent of this Award AgreementAward.
