FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES. Fundraisers are only permitted to benefit individuals/organizations from the City of De Pere. No alcohol beverages are permitted at any fundraisers. Names and addresses of responsible parties and the general purpose of fundraiser must be provided. Fundraisers may require pre-approval from Park Board.

FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES. If Members will perform any fundraising activities, the Subgrantee must have an approved Fundraising Performance Measurement Worksheet to account for any member time spent on allowable fundraising activities. As required by federal regulations, the Subgrantee is responsible for documenting that members do not spend more than 10% of his/her service hours toward performing any fundraising activities, including fundraising supporting activities (i.e., serving food, stuffing envelopes, collecting any type of donation, directing parking, etc.). AmeriCorps members can participate in fundraising activities within the following guidelines:  Member fundraising activities must be in support of the program’s identified community need, and may not include fundraising activities that provide benefit to the legal applicant and/or placement site’s general operating budget or endowment or that of other programs sponsored by the legal applicant and/or placement site;  Members may not fundraise for required matching funds necessary to cover program operating costs;  Members may not prepare grant applications for funding provided by CV, CNCS, or any other federal agency; and  Members may not participate in fundraising activities unless specifically outlined in both the performance measures and member position description and agreed to by the member.
FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES. Use of school facilities for fundraising activities sponsored by local community organizations or charitable organizations whose charitable or service activities are oriented to Oldham County residents shall be allowed within certain limits. The application shall state the purpose for which resulting funds are used together with the percentage of the gross funds that will be realized for such civic or charitable purposes. Use of non-resident paid professionals is discouraged; application may be summarily denied any group if the administration considers a disproportionate share of proceeds are going to such paid professionals. The application may be summarily denied when more than 20 percent of receipts are to be used for the payment of such professionals. CONSIDERATION OF RENTAL REQUEST The Principal and Assistant Superintendent for Support Services shall consider the rental request in light of availability, preservation of school property, security, prior history of the lessee, benefit to the community as a whole, and any other legal concerns. FEES Non-district groups shall pay a fee to cover cost of utilities and custodial care when use of the buildings is at a time the building is normally closed. The buildings are normally open on days school is in session from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This fee may not be waived. The Oldham County Schools shall charge a rate to be determined annually by the Superintendent based on operation cost approved by the Board. Non-profit community groups listed below may request a waiver of rental fees by the Superintendent, or his or her designee. This request must be submitted to the building principal at least two weeks prior to the event. In the event the waiver request is approved, the cost of custodial services, food services, and utilities (if applicable) remains the obligation of the group using the facility. Other such groups not listed may request a wavier or reduction of rental fees by the Superintendent, or his or her designee upon recommendation of the principal or his or her designee. Community groups/activities eligible for waiver of rental costs include: • American Red Cross and its affiliate organizations in Oldham County • Boys Scouts of America and its affiliate organizations in Oldham County • YMCA and its affiliate Organizations in Oldham County • Girls Scouts of America and its affiliate organizations in Oldham County • Public hearings conducted by local government agencies, municipal meetings • Oldham Count...
FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES. It is your responsibility to ensure, prior to commencing a fundraising activity on behalf of a recipient organization, that the organization in question has no objection to the nature of the proposed activity; RandomKid makes no representation or warranty as to the suitability and/or appropriateness of any fundraising activity; RandomKid expressly reserves the right to suspend a fundraising page in the event that the recipient organization, in its sole discretion, deems the fundraising activity unsuitable or inappropriate RandomKid sets aside 10% of all funds raised through our site to support providing services and funding for future youth that come to us to launch their ideas to help others. We call it a pay-it-forward fund because the success of one group to help the world today empowers another group of youth to benefit the world tomorrow. It's a domino effect. You can dip into the fund as many times as you need to. All efforts must be charitable/educational, the funds must be used to generate a return for your cause, and the funds must be returned to the seed fund pool. RandomKid Discretion to distribute funds RandomKid reserves the right to distribute funds to organizations it deems as more appropriate in fulfillment of the RandomKid mission. Example: A child is fundraising to provide an Icee machine to an oncology unit at a hospital. RandomKid learns that the hospital does not want the Icee machine. RandomKid will look for a similar opportunity to donate an Icee machine to another organization caring for kids with cancer that would like to have one. Another example: A child raises money for a specific organization. RandomKid discovers the organization is having ethical or other issues that are of concern. RandomKid may then redirect the funds to another organization that offers a similar means of service. Use of Funds by Recipient Organizations • RandomKid makes no representations or warranties in relation to the appropriate use by recipient organizations of funds raised by use of the site or the services provided; • Recipient organizations make no representations or warranties in relation to the specific use of funds raised except in circumstances where the organization has expressly stated that funds raised will be applied to a particular project or appeal.
FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES. The Parties acknowledge that the University is responsible for any fundraising activities of the University. The Corporation will continue to support the University's fundraising efforts. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the solicitation of governmental grants and research contracts by the Corporation shall not be considered fundraising activities.
FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES. Either party may solicit gifts, contributions and grants to the Fiscal Sponsor, earmarked for the Fiscal Sponsor’s restricted fund for this Project.
