Funding Terms. In general, provided that he/she remain “in good standing”, a doctoral stream student will be funded for his/her thesis-based program. There are four basic principles that guide these funding terms, as follows: • MSc students are guaranteed base funding for their first 2 years. • PhD students admitted with completed master's degree are guaranteed base funding for a minimum of 4 years. • Transfer students (i.e., transfer from MSc to PhD students), are guaranteed minimum base funding for their first 5 years, which includes 1 year as an MSc student. • Direct-entry PhD students admitted with a bachelor's degree are guaranteed base funding for a minimum of 5 years.

There is no limit on the amount of Funding which must be provided under the Agreement, and Lender agrees to provide all needed Funding. As appropriate, once the supervisory committee has agreed that the student has completed all necessary experiments needed for writing his/her thesis, an MSc student will have a maximum of 4 months and a PhD student a maximum of 6 months in which to prepare the thesis and schedule a defense. The student will continue to be paid the total stipend during this period. If the defense is not scheduled within the four or six months, respectively, as described above, the student must apply to the Chair and/or Graduate Coordinator for an extension. If the thesis writing phase is very prolonged, the continuation of funding is not guaranteed, but is at the discretion of the supervisor and Department.
Funding Terms. 1. Funding is contingent upon the Grantee obtaining the necessary approvals (IRB, IACUC, etc.). Before disbursing any Grant proceeds, and in any event on or before six (6) months after the Effective Date, the Funders shall receive evidence in form and substance acceptable to Funders that the Grantee has obtained IRB Approval for the Project or a determination that the Project is exempt from the need for IRB Approval. The Grantee must obtain any subsequent approvals, reviews, or changes in a timely manner and supply evidence of such approvals, reviews, or changes to the Funders in form and substance acceptable to Funders.
Funding Terms. Upon receipt of a funding request from the Authority, the City Council shall consider all available funding sources and terms, including without limitation, grants, loans, sales tax share back pursuant to Article 12 of Chapter 5 of the Northglenn Municipal Code, and in-kind contributions. Any decision to provide funding shall be made by the City Council, in its sole discretion. Both Parties must approve the terms of any funding.
