FUNCTIONS OF THE JOINT COMMITTEE. 2.1 The Committee shall not have the power to add to or in any way modify the terms of this Agreement but shall function in an advisory capacity to the Parties with the general aim of ensuring that this Agreement is administered in a spirit of cooperation and mutual respect.
FUNCTIONS OF THE JOINT COMMITTEE. 3.1 The Councils agree that the Joint Committee shall be constituted and shall operate and conduct its business in accordance with the terms of this Agreement including the Constitution of the Joint Committee as set out at Schedule 1.
FUNCTIONS OF THE JOINT COMMITTEE. 3.1 The Parties empower the Joint Committee, subject to the Budgets approved in accordance with Section 8, to exercise the Role and discharge the Functions, on their behalf, for the geographical County area of Staffordshire in accordance with the provisions of the Local Government Acts 1972 and 1992, the Local Government (Records) Xxx 0000, the Public Records Acts 1958 and 1967, the Manorial Document Rules 1959, the Tithe Rules 1960, the Parochial Registers and Records Measures 1978 as amended by the Church of England (Miscellaneous Provisions) Measure 1992 and the provisions of the Standard For Record Repositories 2004.
FUNCTIONS OF THE JOINT COMMITTEE. 10.1 The Joint Committee shall exercise the Functions set out in Appendix 1. For the avoidance of doubt, the Council shall be responsible for the Functions in the first instance, unless a Partner Authority, Trust or Police notifies the Unit Manager in writing that they shall be managing the Function in respect of a particular unauthorised encampment, in accordance with the process set out in Appendix 1a.

FUNCTIONS OF THE JOINT COMMITTEE. For the efficient implementation of this Agreement, the Joint Committee shall have the following functions; including but not limited to: review the general functioning of this Agreement; set up sub-committees as it considers necessary to assist it in accomplishing its tasks, and supervise the work of sub-committees; review, consider and, as appropriate, decide on specific matters related to the operation and implementation of this Agreement, including matters reported by sub-committees; facilitate, as appropriate, the avoidance and settlement of disputes arising under this Agreement; as appropriate, issue interpretations of this Agreement; review the possibility of further removal of the obstacles to trade between the Parties and the further development of the trade relationship; explore ways to enhance trade between the Parties and to further the objectives of this Agreement; and, take such other actions as the Parties may agree. The Joint Committee may take decisions in the matters related to this Agreement, including decisions to adopt any amendment to this Agreement. The Joint Committee may also make recommendations to matters related to this Agreement. The Joint Committee shall take decisions and make recommendations by consensus of the Parties. The decisions taken by the Joint Committee on any amendment to this Agreement shall be subject to the completion of the respective internal ratification procedures of the Parties in accordance with Article 34 (Amendments).
