Full-Time Union Leave. Upon application by the Union, in writing, the Company will grant leave of absence, without pay, to an employee elected or appointed to full-time Union position. It is understood that not more than one (1) employee in the bargaining unit may be on such leave at the same time. Seniority and service shall accumulate during the full term of such leave.

Full-Time Union Leave a. Employees accepting full-time employment with the Union as representatives of the employees covered by this Agreement will be granted an indefinite unpaid leave of absence by the Company. An employee on leave of absence for this purpose will retain and continue to accrue seniority.

The employee agrees to notify the Hospital of his intention to return to work at least eight (8) weeks prior to the date of such return.
