Common use of Full-Time Status Clause in Contracts

Full-Time Status. Seniority for full-time employees shall be defined as length of continuous full-time service with the Employer in the bargaining unit. When more than one (1) employee is promoted to full- time on the same date, into the same job classification, the employee’s part-time seniority date shall be the governing factor for placement on the schedule, vacation planning and layoff/reduction of hours.
