Full-time Nurses Only. The Hospital shall allow the utilization of single vacation days up to a maximum of ten (10) per year provided that the Nurse requests them in writing to the Manager at least two (2) weeks in advance of that schedule's start and provided they are scheduled at a mutually agreeable time. These days will not affect the unit's compliment for vacation schedules.

Although the actual hours of work may vary from week to week, with some weeks greater than 38 hours and other weeks less, the employee will not work in excess of 152 ordinary hours in any four week period.

  • Full-Time Union Leave Upon application by the Union, in writing, the Company will grant leave of absence, without pay, to an employee elected or appointed to full-time Union position. It is understood that not more than one (1) employee in the bargaining unit may be on such leave at the same time. Seniority and service shall accumulate during the full term of such leave.
