Full-Time Employee Defined. Full-time employees are defined as employees who are scheduled to work an average of forty (40) hours per week or greater over any three (3) consecutive month periods. Full-time employees may apply to become part-time employees. The employee must request such a change in writing to the Employer at least thirty (30) days prior to the desired date which the employee wishes to change to part-time status. An employee-initiated request to change status from full-time to part-time shall be based on operational considerations at the sole discretion of the Employer. Employees classified as part–time shall not establish full-time employment status by virtue of adding hours to their work schedule.
Full-Time Employee Defined. Full-time employees are defined as any employees who are designated as full- time in their current job classification (EMT or Paramedic) and who work an average of forty (40) hours per week. Full-time employees may apply to become part-time employees. The employee must request such a change in writing to the Employer for approval at least thirty (30) days prior to the desired date to become part-time. Requests to change from full-time to part-time status shall be to one (1) time per calendar year per each full-time employee.

  • Full-Time Employee A full-time employee shall be an employee who is normally scheduled to work not less than forty (40) hours per week, consisting of five (5) eight (8) hour working days.

  • Permanent Full-Time Employees Pay and benefits will be computed on a monthly pay status basis.

  • Full-Time Union Leave Upon application by the Union, in writing, the Company will grant leave of absence, without pay, to an employee elected or appointed to full-time Union position. It is understood that not more than one (1) employee in the bargaining unit may be on such leave at the same time. Seniority and service shall accumulate during the full term of such leave.

  • Full-Time and Part-Time Employees (a) The base rates of pay in the appropriate employment classification for full-time employees and for part-time employees shall be the hourly rates of pay set out in the Tables in Schedule B to this Agreement.

  • Full-Time Employees Only Employees will be allowed to participate in health and welfare benefits plans during the year of the leave, but the full cost of such plans will be borne by the employees. Contributions to the Hospitals of Ontario Pension Plan will be in accordance with the Plan. Notwithstanding the above, employees will not be eligible to participate in the disability income plan during the year of the leave.
