Common use of Freedom from Discrimination Clause in Contracts

Freedom from Discrimination. 7.01 The parties agree that in accordance with the Ontario Human Rights Code there shall be no discrimination, interference, restriction, or coercion exercised or practiced with respect to any member of the Bargaining Unit in any matter concerning the application of the provisions of this Agreement by reason of race, ancestry, place of origin, colour, ethnic origin, citizenship, creed, sex, sexual orientation, age, record of offences, martial status, same-sex partnership status, family status, political or religious affiliations, whether one has children or disability.
