Common use of Formal Stage Clause in Contracts

Formal Stage. 1.) Within five (5) school days after a determination has been made at the preceding stage, the aggrieved unit member and the Association may make a written request to the Superintendent or his/her designee for review and determination. If the Superintendent designates a person to act on his/her behalf, he/she shall also delegate full authority to render a determination on his/her behalf.

Formal Stage. 1.a) Within five (5) school days after a determination has been made at the preceding stage, the aggrieved unit member and the Association person may make a written request to the Superintendent Chief Administrator or his/her his designee with a copy to the immediate supervisor for review and determination. If the Superintendent Chief Administrator designates a person to act on his/her in his behalf, he/she he shall also delegate full authority to render a determination on his/her in his behalf.

If the Superintendent of Schools designates a person to act on in his/her behalf, he/she shall also delegate full authority to render a determination on his/her behalf.
