Foot Wear Allowance. ‌ Once each calendar year, every regular employee who has been employed for a minimum of one (1) year shall receive up to a one hundred and twenty-five dollar ($125) footwear allowance upon providing a receipt of purchase. This applies to auxiliaries who have completed six (6) months service in a calendar year. Effective August 16, 2013 the Foot Wear Allowance will be increased to one hundred and thirty-seven dollars and fifty cents ($137.50). Effective August 16, 2014 the Foot Wear Allowance will be increased by the Labour Component of the Annual Price Adjustment. Effective August 16, 2015 the Foot Wear Allowance will be increased by the Labour Component of the Annual Price Adjustment. Effective August 16, 2016 the Foot Wear Allowance will be increased by the Labour Component of the Annual Price Adjustment. Effective August 16, 2017 the Foot Wear Allowance will be increased by the Labour Component of the Annual Price Adjustment. Foot Wear Allowance. The City agrees to provide protective footwear and/or footwear accessories to the following personnel: Public Works Field Operations, Parking Enforcement Officers, Neighborhood Improvement Officers, and Building Inspectors with the exception of the following: Office Staff, and Crossing Guards. The City also agrees to provide protective footwear to maintenance personnel assigned to the Recreation and Community Services Department, and Community Development Building Inspectors.   • Footwear Allowance The Company will reimburse full-time employees up to fifty ($50.00) dollars per year toward the cost of footwear upon presentation of a receipt. Eligible employees will receive reimbursement for footwear upon completion of six (6) months' service. Once employees have received the footwear allowance, they must wear such footwear during work hours.

  • Shoe Allowance The Employer will provide reimbursement to full time employees who have completed probation and who are employed in the kitchen and stewarding departments, once per year in the amount of $60.00 and once every two years in the amount of $60.00 for maintenance and banquet housepersons. The amount shall increase to $75, effective January 1, 2007. Employees will receive said amount as long as the shoes are approved by the employer and as long as the shoes are worn on the job. Payment will be made on or about July 1 upon presentation of proof of purchase.
