Major activities emphacized strengthening the ability of beneficiaries to sustainably generate income, the commercial viability of their micro-enterprises, promoting sustainable harvesting of NTFPs and developing networks of service providers and NTFPs traders to promote a beneficial environment for micro enterprises.

These focus areas are: Leadership, planning and accountability involve developing leaders who will work with Aboriginal people to inspire and motivate them to achieve their full potential. Ensuring that the GLLC and the Xxxxxxx AECG are collaboratively planning at all levels to develop inclusive policies, strategies and initiatives. Having clear legitimate reporting and monitoring processes in place to ensure everyone is accountable for their contribution to Aboriginal education and training outcomes. Ongoing learning and professional development focus on supporting the notion that, in the context of ongoing learning and professional development, people will gain a greater understanding and be better informed of the role and function of both organisations. This will underpin the successful implementation of the Partnership Agreement. Relationships and pathways focus on building and maintaining respectful and effective working relationships that value the input of all and provides opportunities for people to engage and contribute towards achieving the common goal of striving for successful outcomes for Aboriginal students. Teaching and training is about quality teaching and education and training experiences are meaningful and relevant. It is about engaging in learning environments where teachers and students have high expectations of each other with the two-pronged outcome of achieving academically and having experiences that encourages the desire for ongoing learning. Focus Areas. While this proposal has a tight focus around safety and equity, these two topics have a much more expansive view.
Focus Areas. This bilateral agreement aligns with and is cognizant of the existing collaborative relationship between QAIHC and GPQ. It is intended that details of activity undertaken post the implementation of this agreement be well documented to enable evaluation and reporting of joint-service activities and programs. It is envisaged the key domains across which both partners will act will comprise the following: Health system reform, including: National Health and Hospital Reform Primary Health Care Transition to Community Control Indigenous health leadership Statewide and regional planning Preventative health Chronic diseases and risk factors such as smoking and obesity Policy reform and program implementation Joint planning and program implementation design Collaborative research and data sharing Quality improvement initiatives Workforce strategies and skill development Deliverables Uptake against focus areas Detail on progress and updates against the agreed focus areas and implementation strategies will be developed and promoted. These will guide actions for collaboration but not be binding. Annual Review The QAIHC Chair and the GPQ Chair will meet at least annually to identify: achievements for the upcoming financial year; and future strategic priorities and underpinning strategies to inform future activity plans.
