Common use of Flow Down Clause in Contracts

Flow Down. Contractor shall require each Subcontractor and each Subcontractor shall require each Sub-subcontractor, to be bound by these General Conditions and any Supplemental General Conditions, and to assume toward Contractor and Subcontractor, as the case may be, all of the obligations and responsibilities the Contractor assumes toward the Owner, unless (i) the same are clearly inapplicable to the contract at issue because of legal requirements or industry practices, or (ii) Contractor requests specific exceptions that Owner approves in writing.
