Flextime Plans. The Appointing Authority and the Council may mutually agree to a flextime plan. Flextime plans in existence prior to the effective date of this Agreement may be continued. If the Appointing Authority determines to discontinue flextime plans, the Appointing Authority shall, upon request, discuss such change with the Council prior to implementation.

Flextime Plans. The Appointing Authority and the Council may mutually agree to a flextime plan. Flextime plans in existence prior to the effective date of this Agreement may be continued, provided they are consistent with the requirements of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and do not schedule an employee to work more than forty (40) hours within a work week. If the Appointing Authority determines to discontinue flextime plans, the Appointing Authority shall, upon request, discuss such change with the Council prior to implementation.
