Five Day Rehearsal Week. ‌ Notwithstanding any of the above, the Theatre shall operate on a five (5) day rehearsal week basis after a secret ballot on or before the first day of rehearsal, by Artists in the company and the Director, with no less than a two-thirds (2/3) majority in favour of this option. In this case the rehearsal day shall be extended to eight (8) hours out of nine-and-a-half (9-1/2) hours per day with a meal break of at least one-and-a-half (1-1/2) hours after a maximum of four-and-a-half (4- 1/2) hours of rehearsal. The meal break may be reduced to one (1) hour with the consent of all the Artists in the production. The Theatre reserves the right with a minimum of twenty-four (24) hours notice to designate the additional Free Day.

Five Day Rehearsal Week. Notwithstanding any of the above, the Theatre shall operate on a five day rehearsal week basis after a secret ballot on or before the first day of rehearsal, by Equity Artists in the company and the Director, with no less than a two-thirds majority in -favour of this option. In this case the rehearsal day shall be extended to eight hours out of nine and one-half hours per day with a meal break of at least one-and-one-half hours after a maximum of four-and-one-half hours of rehearsal. The meal break may be reduced to one hour with the consent of all the Equity members in the production. The Theatre reserves the right with a minimum of twenty-four hours notice to designate the additional free day. Furthermore, the Theatre has the right to revert to a six day rehearsal week after the conclusion of any five day week. of such a change must be given by the end of the last rehearsal day in the week prior. Except with the agreement of the Theatre, this option is not available in Theatres operating in Repertory, or Mixed Companies, nor does it apply to the production week.

  • Five Day Work Week Schedule When working under the five (5) day work week schedule, Employees shall receive one and one-half (1.5x) times their regular rate of pay for the first two (2) hours of overtime Monday through Friday.   • Holiday Week In the event that a holiday is celebrated during the week (Monday through Friday), the remaining four days of the week may be worked as a four ten shift at the straight time rate on a voluntary basis with three (3) days’ notice to the Union. In the event the job is down due to weather conditions, then Saturday may, at the option of the Employer be worked as a voluntary make-up day at the straight time rate.

  • Compensation for Holidays Falling on Scheduled Days Off 1. When a holiday falls on a full-time employee's regularly scheduled day off, the employee shall receive eight (8) hours of compensatory time.

  • Consecutive Days Off The Employer shall schedule consecutive days off for all full-time employees except where a full-time employee requests otherwise. Where possible, part-time employees shall have consecutive days off every second week. Where it can be demonstrated by the Shop Xxxxxxx, to the Employer’s satisfaction, that scheduling of consecutive days off can be accomplished without an adverse effect on the operation of the department, the Employer shall do so.

  • Holiday Falling on a Scheduled Workday An employee who works on a designated holiday which is a scheduled workday shall be compensated at the rate of double-time for hours worked, plus a day off in lieu of the holiday; except for Christmas and New Year's when the compensation shall be at the rate of double-time and one-half for hours worked, plus a day off in lieu of the holiday.
