FIRST AID MAN. When an employee is designated as First Aid Man by the Company, he shall have his regular hourly rate increased by the following schedule: Level 3: $1.00 per hour Level 2: $0.90 per hour Level 1: $0.70 per hour The Employer agrees that any employee who has a First Aid Ticket shall be paid the appropriate premium regardless of W.C.B. minimum requirements. 6 Enabling Clause When in the opinion of both parties it is deemed beneficial to the Employer and the Union members the terms and conditions of the Collective Agreement may be modified for work coming under the Road Builders Agreement “Extent Clause”. Such mutually agreed modifications to the Collective Agreement shall be by Letter of Understanding and may be for one project, for a type of work, for a specific area or a specific period of time.

The Company will pay the maintenance cost of an appointed First Aid Attendant's certificate. Lead Hand: When an employee is designated as Lead Hand by the Company he shall receive sixty cent ($.60) per hour above the highest classification under his supervision. Where an employee works in a higher hourly wage classification, he shall be paid the higher rate for the hours worked in such classification. When a new job classification is introduced which is not included in the list of classifications in this Schedule, the Company and the Union shall promptly negotiate a wage rate for such classification. Every effort will be made by the parties to conclude negotiations within thirty (30) days, but in any event, the rate established shall be retroactive to the day the new job commenced. In the event the parties hereto are unable to conclude negotiations the matters in dispute shall be referred to a single Arbitrator agreed upon between the parties. Failing such agreement, either party at any time may call upon the Minister of Labour of British Columbia to appoint an Arbitrator.   • First Aid The employer will appoint an employee who holds a current First Aid certificate and who is covered by this agreement as first aid attendant. Any first aid chest, box or cupboard provided by the employer will be in control of that employee and his/her name will be made known throughout the establishment in which he/she is employed and will be inscribed on the first aid chest, box or cupboard.

  • First Aid Kits The Employer shall provide an area, equipped with a first-aid kit, for the use of Employees taken ill during working hours.

  • BUY AMERICA ACT (National School Lunch Program and Breakfast Program With respect to products purchased by Customers for use in the National School Lunch Program and/or National School Breakfast Program, Contractor shall comply with all federal procurement laws and regulations with respect to such programs, including the Buy American provisions set forth in 7 C.F.R. Part 210.21(d), to the extent applicable. Contractor agrees to provide all certifications required by Customer regarding such programs. In the event Contractor or Contractor’s supplier(s) are unable or unwilling to certify compliance with the Buy American Provision, or the applicability of an exception to the Buy American provision, H-GAC Customers may decide not to purchase from Contractor. Additionally, H-GAC Customers may require country of origin on all products and invoices submitted for payment by Contractor, and Contractor agrees to comply with any such requirement.

  • First Aid Premium First Aid Premiums shall apply when an employee is assigned by the Employer to be a First Aid Attendant on a job site and shall be paid as follows: Level II - $1.00 per hour. Level III - $2.00 per hour.

  • First Aid Attendant Employees who take time off at the direction of the Employer to take a recognized Industrial First Aid Program shall not suffer a loss of regular pay.

  • First Aid Expenses We will pay expenses for first aid to others in- curred by an "insured" for "bodily injury" covered under this policy. We will not pay for first aid to an "insured".

  • High Risk Use Npcap is not designed, manufactured, or intended for use in hazardous environments requiring fail-safe performance where the failure of the software could lead directly to death, personal injury, or significant physical or environmental damage (“High Risk Activities”). Use of Npcap in High Risk Activities is not authorized.

  • First Aid Attendants a) Designated First Aid Attendants shall receive their job rate of pay plus the Ticket Premium rate. All other employees holding valid First Aid Tickets shall receive a premium of five cents (5¢) per hour over and above their job rate. There shall be no stacking or pyramiding of premiums.

  • Travelling, Transport and Fares (a) An employee required and authorised to use their own motor vehicle in the course of their duties will be paid not less than the allowance set out in item 21 in Table 2.

  • First Aid Training In the interests of the occupational safety and health of employees, the Employer will undertake an in-service program of first aid training aimed at providing a first aid officer for each department.
