First Aid Certificates. All drivers are to be qualified for the Standard American Red Cross First Aid Certificate at the earliest opportunity or available training. Drivers shall be reimbursed for enrolling and completing of course for certification.

First Aid Certificates. The Company shall pay for the time and the cost of taking a course to achieve a recognized Level 1 or Level 2 Occupational First Aid certificate for a minimum of two (2) employees or such number as required by law. An employee who obtains an Occupational First Aid Certificate shall receive an hourly premium from the Company for the certificate held, so long as the employee submits proof of the certificate and maintains the qualifications for the certificate in good standing, in accordance with the following schedule: The Company will pay the first aid premium to at least one employee on each twelve (12) hour shift, in pulp and foam locations, currently holding an Occupational First Aid certificate as defined by WSBC requirements Level “3” Occupational First Aid Certificate: $0.90 Level “2” Occupational First Aid Certificate: $0.90 Level “1” Occupational First Aid Certificate: $0.25 Where more employees hold certificates than are entitled to the premium, the employee who has held the certificate longer while employed at CKF shall be paid the premium. When an employee who is not the designated first aid attendant is requested by the Supervisor to perform first aid during his or her shift, s/he will be entitled to get the designated first aid premium for a three (3) hour period.
First Aid Certificates. This Letter is appended to and forms part of the Agreement that expires December 31, 2020. It expires automatically with the expiry of that Agreement. Recognizing the problem that the Employer has in ensuring that there are a sufficient number of employees at work having first aid tickets to meet the requirements of the WorkSafe BC Regulations, the Labour/Management Committee shall meet to develop a mutually agreeable solution to this problem. This solution shall, among other things, involve finding a sufficient number of volunteers from the bargaining unit to take Level II First Aid certificates to ensure that the Employer’s needs for first aid coverage are met, while ensuring that the principal of seniority is maintained. In addition, the parties shall discuss increasing the quantum of the first aid premiums so that more people are willing to volunteer to get tickets. The Union understands that the Employer has a legitimate need to have first aid coverage to meet WorkSafe BC requirements and will use its best efforts to assist the Employer in finding a sufficient number of volunteers to meet this need, recognizing should this effort fail, that the Employer may, on occasion, be forced to utilize employees having the first aid tickets it requires out of normal seniority order in order to meet its legal requirements. LETTER OF UNDERSTANDING #5 RE: PARKING This Letter is appended to and forms part of the Agreement that expires December 31, 2020. It expires automatically with the expiry of that Agreement unless otherwise renewed. The Employer shall provide free parking to regular full-time employees during the annual fair on the same basis as it provides for its exempt staff, including transportation to/from off-site parking, between the hours of 8:00 pm to and including 5:00 pm. The Employer will provide safety escorts at night for employees, as per the current past practice. Employees working between 12:00 midnight and 8:00 am shall be allowed to park in Lot No. 6. Individual employees who abuse this benefit in any way shall be subject to disciplinary process, subject to Article 6 - Grievance and Arbitration Procedures.

  • Required Certificates ‌ Where the Employer requires an employee to be qualified to perform first aid duties, or required to hold certificates or licences, the cost of renewing the required certificate(s) will be borne by the Employer. Time spent at the course for certificates will be considered time worked and will be compensated at the appropriate rate of pay.

  • Lost, Stolen or Destroyed Certificates In the event that any Certificates shall have been lost, stolen or destroyed, the Paying Agent shall issue in exchange for such lost, stolen or destroyed Certificates, upon the making of an affidavit of that fact by the holder thereof, the Merger Consideration payable in respect thereof pursuant to Section 2.1 hereof; provided, however, that Parent may, in its discretion and as a condition precedent to the payment of such Merger Consideration, require the owners of such lost, stolen or destroyed Certificates to deliver a bond in such sum as it may reasonably direct as indemnity against any claim that may be made against Parent, the Surviving Corporation or the Paying Agent with respect to the Certificates alleged to have been lost, stolen or destroyed.

  • Medical Certificates (a) An employee who has given the Employer notice of their intention to take paid or unpaid parental leave, or unpaid partner leave shall provide the Employer with a medical certificate from a registered medical practitioner naming the employee, or the employee’s partner, confirming the pregnancy and estimated date of birth.

  • The Certificates The Certificates shall be substantially in the forms attached hereto as exhibits. The Certificates shall be issuable in registered form, in the minimum denominations, integral multiples in excess thereof (except that one Certificate in each Class may be issued in a different amount which must be in excess of the applicable minimum denomination) and aggregate denominations per Class set forth in the Preliminary Statement. Subject to Section 9.02 hereof respecting the final distribution on the Certificates, on each Distribution Date the Trustee shall make distributions to each Certificateholder of record on the preceding Record Date either (x) by wire transfer in immediately available funds to the account of such holder at a bank or other entity having appropriate facilities therefor, if (i) such Holder has so notified the Trustee at least five Business Days prior to the related Record Date and (ii) such Holder shall hold (A) a Notional Amount Certificate, (B) 100% of the Class Certificate Balance of any Class of Certificates or (C) Certificates of any Class with aggregate principal Denominations of not less than $1,000,000 or (y) by check mailed by first class mail to such Certificateholder at the address of such holder appearing in the Certificate Register. The Certificates shall be executed by manual or facsimile signature on behalf of the Trustee by an authorized officer. Certificates bearing the manual or facsimile signatures of individuals who were, at the time when such signatures were affixed, authorized to sign on behalf of the Trustee shall bind the Trustee, notwithstanding that such individuals or any of them have ceased to be so authorized prior to the countersignature and delivery of such Certificates or did not hold such offices at the date of such Certificate. No Certificate shall be entitled to any benefit under this Agreement, or be valid for any purpose, unless countersigned by the Trustee by manual signature, and such countersignature upon any Certificate shall be conclusive evidence, and the only evidence, that such Certificate has been duly executed and delivered hereunder. All Certificates shall be dated the date of their countersignature. On the Closing Date, the Trustee shall countersign the Certificates to be issued at the direction of the Depositor, or any affiliate thereof. The Depositor shall provide, or cause to be provided, to the Trustee on a continuous basis, an adequate inventory of Certificates to facilitate transfers.

  • Licenses and Certificates Contractor shall, at all times during the term of this Contract, maintain in full force and effect such licenses as may be required by the State of California or any other governmental entity for Contractor to perform the duties specified herein and provide the services required pursuant to this Contract. Contractor shall strictly adhere to, and obey, all governmental rules and regulations now in effect or as subsequently enacted or modified, as promulgated by any local, state, or federal governmental entities.

  • Replacement Certificates If, on the date a Securityholder’s escrow securities are to be released, the Escrow Agent holds a share certificate or other evidence representing more escrow securities than are to be released, the Escrow Agent will deliver the share certificate or other evidence to the Issuer or its transfer agent and request replacement share certificates or other evidence. The Issuer will cause replacement share certificates or other evidence to be prepared and delivered to the Escrow Agent. After the Escrow Agent receives the replacement share certificates or other evidence, the Escrow Agent will send to the Securityholder or at the Securityholder’s direction, the replacement share certificate or other evidence of the escrow securities released. The Escrow Agent and Issuer will act as soon as reasonably practicable.

  • Certificates Principal Life hereby agrees to deliver an Officer’s Certificate, a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit E, on a quarterly basis to any rating agency currently rating the Program. The Trust hereby agrees to deliver an Officer’s Certificate, a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit F, on a quarterly basis to any rating agency currently rating the Program.
