Firm Fixed Price Proposals for Construction. Work Packages without Pre- Construction Services. The Contracting Officer may issue the Contractor a Construction Work Package Request for a Construction Work Package based on Construction Documents for which the Contractor did not provide Pre-Construction Services. For each such Construction Work Package Request, the Contractor will submit a firm fixed price proposal to the Contracting Officer in response to and in compliance with that request. The Contractor shall submit two printed sets and one electronic set of its proposal to the Contracting Officer. The proposal shall be submitted in tabbed binders, including the sections identified in Section 6.2.3. The Authority action, following receipt of the Contractor’s proposal will be in accordance with Section 6.6. Sections 6.2.1 and 6.2.2 only apply to Construction Work Packages for which the Contractor has not provided Pre-Construction Services.

  • BUILDER’S RISK FOR CONSTRUCTION RENOVATION PROJECTS If the project is CONSTRUCTION RENOVATION of an existing structure, and the State has already determined that Contractor will not be obligated to obtain and maintain Builder’s Risk insurance, then the following provisions apply:

  • New Construction If this contract is for a Property that is newly constructed and the new construction option is selected, coverage begins on day one (1) of month thirteen

The LVRT standard provides for a transition period standard and a post-transition period standard.

  • Suspension of unsafe Construction Works (i) Upon recommendation of the Authority’s Engineer to this effect, the Authority may by notice require the Contractor to suspend forthwith the whole or any part of the Works if, in the reasonable opinion of the Authority’s Engineer, such work threatens the safety of the Users and pedestrians.

  • PRE-CONSTRUCTION PHASE SERVICES The Pre-Construction Phase shall be deemed to commence upon the date specified in a written Notice to Proceed with Pre-Construction Phase Services issued by Owner and shall continue through completion of the Construction Documents and procurement of all major Subcontractor agreements. Contractor is not entitled to reimbursement for any costs incurred for Pre-Construction Phase Services performed before issuance of the written Notice to Proceed. Pre-Construction Phase Services may overlap Construction Phase Services. Contractor shall perform the following Pre-Construction Phase Services:

  • Construction Schedule The progress schedule of construction of the Project as provided by Developer and approved by District.

  • Project Construction The Contractor agrees to provide continuous on-site supervision on each Job Order, while progress on the project is being accomplished. The Contractor’s Project Manager will ensure:

  • Interconnection Facilities Engineering Procurement and Construction Interconnection Facilities, Network Upgrades, and Distribution Upgrades shall be studied, designed, and constructed pursuant to Good Utility Practice. Such studies, design and construction shall be based on the assumed accuracy and completeness of all technical information received by the Participating TO and the CAISO from the Interconnection Customer associated with interconnecting the Large Generating Facility.
