FIRE/LIFE SAFETY. 1. Inspections: Under the direction of the State Fire Marshal, housing staff will conduct an initial fire/life safety inspection of all residence halls. Students will be given at least 24 hours’ notice and must grant access, subject only to reasonable delay to ensure proper attire. A follow-up inspection will occur if the initial inspection reveals safety violations. General inspections may also occur throughout the year.
FIRE/LIFE SAFETY. Permit Set stamped with the installing contractors identifying stamp and stamped as, AS BUILT and signed by the installing craft supervisor or Project Manager with their name clearly printed adjacent to the signature. Two sets, one (1) shall be reproducible.

Toxic, hazardous, or flammable chemicals other than over-the-counter cleaning and personal hygienic supplies shall NOT be stored on the premises. b. Any suspected malfunction of fire and life safety equipment must be reported immediately to the appropriate Resident Services Office (RSO). c. Residents must evacuate the premises during a fire alarm. d. Every apartment is equipped with a smoke detector. Misuse or tampering with any life safety equipment installed by the University, including but not limited to smoke/heat detectors or egress alarms, is prohibited. e. Any Resident found to be in non-compliance with items (a), (b), (c), or (d) may be subject to fines and/or eviction, at the University’s sole discretion.

FIRE/LIFE SAFETY. Install and deliver a sprinkler system to the extent required for vacant and unoccupied space. Landlord to provide direct access through common areas only (not through adjacent tenant spaces).
FIRE/LIFE SAFETY. Assistance in the Design, Construction and operations planning of the Projects as it relates to fire prevention, fire suppression, and emergency preparedness with respect to fires or other major disasters. The assistance shall also include reviews for conformance of fire/life safety codes, standards and regulations. Fire Department representatives will be invited to participate as active members of Authority-designated committees dealing with fire/life safety issues.

Any Resident found to be in non-compliance with items (a), (b), (c) or (d) may be subject to liquidated damage charges, fines, and/or eviction, at the Owner’s sole discretion.
FIRE/LIFE SAFETY. All work pertaining to the fire and life safety systems must be coordinated with Building Engineering, 000-000-0000.
FIRE/LIFE SAFETY. Contractor shall install electrical equipment and systems that are of the same manufacturer and model number as the existing equipment and systems. Proper precautions shall be taken by the Contractor to ensure that smoke detectors are not set off from dust caused by construction or other work activities. Contractor shall notify Landlord 24hrs prior to work commencing on the fire sprinklers, fire alarms, other life safety systems or any construction type projects.
