Fire Fighters. (7k) – DSH/DDS
Fire Fighters. 9.2.3.1 Staff scheduled to work on statutory holidays shall do so unless the day is booked off by mutual agreement with the Chief of the Fire Department.
Fire Fighters. Emergency firefighting is separate from the other considerations in this Agreement, and the regular rate for each employee on Company operation fires shall be paid at straight time.
Fire Fighters. The full time employees employed by the County and assigned to fire suppression, emergency medical services, rescue or other duties within the Fire Suppression Division.
Fire Fighters. After completion of six (6) month probationary period, each employee engaged in a type of work required to be performed continuously shall be credited with one working day per month up to a maximum of twelve (12) working days per year in lieu of statutory holidays declared by the City of Xxxxxx River, Provincial or Federal Government. Such days shall be taken in the calendar year following that in which they were earned.
Fire Fighters. The remainder of the techs needed for each shift may be of any rank. The Tech Engineers shall see that boat(s) and assigned equipment are clean, in good working order, and ready for immediate service at all times.
Fire Fighters. Fire Fighters" means the employees, including officers and technicians, employed by the County and assigned exclusively to Fire Protection and Fire Prevention duties notwithstanding that those duties may include the performance of ambulance or rescue services.

At the initial commencement of services by the Department, fire services shall be provided by the current fire fighters of the Spring Garden and Springettsbury fire departments in accordance with one of the two following alternative scenarios: ALTERNATIVE A: All full-time fire fighters employed by Springettsbury and Spring Garden shall, within sixty (60) days of the Effective Date of this Agreement, merge into a single, consolidated bargaining unit for purposes of Act 111, 43 P.S. § 217.1 et seq., by executing a consolidated regional fire contract providing for salaries, wages, benefits, ranks and positions, and seniority levels, and establishing other terms and conditions of employment that are substantially equivalent, when taken together, to those provided to such fire fighters under existing collective bargaining agreements or other employment contracts in effect at the time of the Effective Date of this Agreement. Spring Garden and Springettsbury shall thereafter take all steps necessary to effectuate the transfer of fire fighters from the respective municipal departments to the Regional Department as provided under Article
