Common use of Financial Participation Prohibited Clause in Contracts

Financial Participation Prohibited. Pursuant to Texas Government Code § 2155.004(a), GRANTEE certifies that neither GRANTEE nor any person or entity represented by XXXXXXX has received compensation from TWDB or any agency of the State of Texas for participation in the preparation of the specifications or solicitation on which this CONTRACT is based. Under Texas Government Code § 2155.004(b), GRANTEE certifies that the individual or business entity named in this CONTRACT is not ineligible to receive the specified CONTRACT and acknowledges that this CONTRACT may be terminated and payment withheld if this certification is inaccurate.
