Finalize Plan. 5.1 Public Unveiling and Final Check-In with Community Opticos will unveil the Adoption Draft Plan to the public, and will provide an opportunity for public input. Finalize Plan. After Meeting 3, Polis will finalize the plan based on feedback from all Meeting 3 participants. Upon finalization of the draft, Polis staff will conduct a Plan Crosswalk, and submit the plan and the crosswalk to FEMA for review. The crosswalk ensures that all of the elements required by FEMA in a local mitigation plan are present in the MHMP. After receiving feedback from FEMA, Polis will make any requested changes to the plan and resubmit for review and approval pending adoption (APA). Once Polis receives FEMA’s APA, the County will receive the official APA letter, the final plan, and template resolutions for use by the jurisdictions who participated in the plan. The county should adopt the plan within one year of the APA letter date at the latest. Deliverables: • Draft Plan to FEMA • Plan Crosswalk to FEMA • Final Plan to FEMA • Final approved Plan and APA letter to the County • Template resolutions County responsibilities: • Work with jurisdictions to get the Plan adopted within 1 year of approval
