Common use of Finality of Decisions Clause in Contracts

Finality of Decisions. ‌ The arbitrator's decision made in accordance with the arbitrator's jurisdiction and authority established by this Agreement shall be final and binding upon the Employer, the Association and the employee or employees involved. S-10-7 TIME LIMITS‌ Time limits as set forth in the grievance and arbitration sections may be extended by mutual agreement of the parties. Any grievance which is not appealed by the Association within the time limits specified at each step shall be considered settled on the basis of the last answer and not subject to further review. Any grievance which is not answered by the Employer within the time limits shall be forwarded to the next step. The parties may agree to waive any steps of the Grievance Procedure.
