Common use of Field Training Officer Clause in Contracts

Field Training Officer. Authorized Field Training Officer (FTO) shall receive either two and one quarter (2 ¼ ) hours of pay per twelve hour shift or one and one half (1½) hours of pay for any shift less than twelve hours at the Employee’s regular hourly rate of pay for all assignments involving directly training a probationary officer or other officer assigned to a Field Training Officer.

Field Training Officer. Authorized A Police Officer who serves as a Field Training Officer ("FTO") for member(s) shall receive either payment of one (1) hour straight time pay for each eight (8) hour training day, except that an officer whose shift is changed in order to serve as an FTO shall receive two and one quarter (2 ¼ 2) hours of pay per twelve hour shift or one and one half (1½) hours of straight time pay for any shift less than twelve hours at the Employee’s regular hourly rate of pay for all assignments involving directly each eight (8) hour training a probationary officer or other officer assigned to a Field Training Officerday.

Authorized Employees designated as a Field Training Officer (FTO) shall receive either two and one quarter (2 ¼ 1) additional hours of pay per twelve hour shift or one and one at time-and-one-half (1½1 1/2) hours of pay for any shift less than twelve hours at the Employee’s times their regular hourly rate of pay for all assignments involving directly each day of training a probationary officer or other officer assigned to a Field Training Officer.consisting of at least one-half (1/2) of the FTO’s scheduled shift.‌
