Field Trainer. A member who is a qualified Field Trainer and is required to perform field training duties shall receive, in addition to regular pay, daily compensation in the amount of one-half (½) of the difference between the daily rate of a 1st Class Constable (rank index of 100%) and the daily rate of a 1st Class Constable (rank index of 115%) for the time worked as a Field Trainer. Field Trainer. A member who is qualified by the Justice Institute of British Columbia Police Academy, and/or designated by Management, as a Field Trainer and who is assigned to perform field training duties, shall receive, in addition to regular pay, compensation in the amount of an additional seven point five percent (7.5%) of the hourly wage of a First (1st) Class Constable for all hours worked on each day the member is engaged in the provision of field training to a recruit.
Field Trainer. Employees assigned by Management to serve as a Field Trainer shall receive an increase in pay of ninety cents ($0.90) per hour upon their initial assignment. Employees assigned as a Field Trainer must successfully complete the training and/or certification, as applicable, listed below within two (2) years of assignment. • Essentials Course BLS • Essentials Course ACLS • AHA BLS Instructor Course • AHA ACLS Instructor Course Upon presenting proof of certification to the Public Safety Director or designee, the employee shall receive an increase to their hourly rate of pay of twenty cents ($0.20) per hour for each: AHA BLS Instructor certification and AHA ACLS Instructor certification. The employee shall receive an increase of ten cents ($0.10) per hour for each: Essentials Course BLS and Essentials Course ACLS. The certifications listed above are mandatory requirements for this specialty and must be obtained within two years of assignment. Failure to obtain and/or maintain certifications may result in loss of specialty pay and/or reassignment per Department policy. In order to be eligible for assignment by Management as a Field Trainer, employees will be required to first successfully complete competitive testing, as established by Management with input from a joint Labor/Management Team. Total compensation for this specialty assignment shall not exceed one dollar and fifty cents ($1.50).
Field Trainer. Certified Child Protective Investigators may be assigned and retained as a Field Trainer at the discretion of the CPIS Command, and upon said assignment, shall be entitled to receive a supplemental payment during periods of active training. The Child Protective Investigator must successfully complete training to enhance and maintain their skills, and to keep abreast of any policy or practice changes that may arise. Certified Child Protective Investigators must be designated as an active CPIS Field Trainer by CPIS Command before he/she will receive a supplemental payment.   • Field Trips Orange COUNTY funds may not be used to support any overnight and/or out of Central Florida travel, unless approved by the COUNTY’S Manager of the CCC or designee in advance. The AGENCY must have on file for field trip(s) that each participant, adult or minor, must have a signed release of liability form releasing the COUNTY from any liability. If the participant is a minor, the release must be signed by a parent/guardian. Central Florida is defined as Orange, Osceola, Seminole, Brevard, Lake, Polk, and Volusia Counties.

  • Field Training Officers The position of Field Training Officer (FTO) shall be held by a Trooper or Sergeant who most closely meets the requirements set forth by the Employer which are outlined in policy OSP-501.08. If the Employer determines there are an insufficient number of qualified volunteers, it may appoint other individuals to be FTOs. The District Commander shall make the final selections. A supplement of eight hundred dollars ($800.00) shall be given to all FTOs for the sixty (60) working day training period. This amount will be prorated in instances where the training period is cut short or lengthened. Field Training Officers and their trainees will be required to work twenty (20) days on each of the three shifts during the training period.

  • Training a. The employer, in consultation with the local, shall be responsible for developing and implementing an ongoing harassment and sexual harassment awareness program for all employees. Where a program currently exists and meets the criteria listed in this agreement, such a program shall be deemed to satisfy the provisions of this article. This awareness program shall initially be for all employees and shall be scheduled at least once annually for all new employees to attend.

  • Professional Development and Training 4.1 The purpose of professional development and training requirements for interpreters is to maintain the skill levels interpreters possess at the time they pass their interpreter certification examination, and to further enhance their skills and knowledge. Both the State and the Union encourage interpreters to complete training and continuing education activities.

  • Driver Training A. All drivers are to be provided with appropriate training and refresher courses each year in the following areas as a minimum: * Proper use of equipment including communications equipment; * Defensive driving; * Emergency and accident procedures; * Identifying unusual passenger behavior; * Student harassment and bullying; * Conducting evacuation drills; * Sensitivity training in working with disabled persons; * Human relation skills in working with parents, school staff, etc; * General vehicle maintenance and pre-trip inspections; and * Map reading and city street coordinates.   • Cell Phone Employee shall be provided with a cell phone, with e-mail capabilities, at Board expense. As a condition of receipt of said cell phone, employee is expected to be reachable as necessary and appropriate by the Superintendent and Board President for the thorough and efficient operation of the School District. Incidental personal use shall be permitted. Employees shall have the option of being reimbursed for the use of a personal smartphone in the amount of fifty dollars ($50.00) per month instead of accepting a district cell phone. As a condition of this reimbursement, employee must a) be reasonably available at all times via the personal phone; and b) take reasonable measures to protect the confidentiality of student and staff information being transmitted to and through said phone.
