Common use of Federal Financial Participation Clause in Contracts

Federal Financial Participation. Nothing in this contract shall limit the Contractor’s ability to submit claims for appropriate FFP reimbursement based on actual, total fund expenditures for any covered services or quality assurance, utilization review, Medi-Cal Administrative Activities and/or administrative costs. In accordance the Welf. & Inst. Code § 14705(c), the Contractor shall ensure compliance with all requirements necessary for Medi-Cal reimbursement for these services and activities. Claims for FFP reimbursement shall be submitted by the Contractor to the Department for adjudication throughout the fiscal year. Pursuant to the Welf. & Inst. Code § 14705(d), the Contractor shall certify to the state that it has incurred public expenditures prior to requesting the reimbursement of federal funds.
