Federal Attestation. Pursuant to 2 CFR § 200.415(a) (or, for HHS awards: 45 CFR § 75.415) (“Required Certifications”), the County is required to attest to the Federal Awarding Agency that all expenditures (including those made pursuant to this Subaward) were proper and in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Federal award and approved project budgets (if any). Accordingly, all invoices from the Subrecipient to the County must include the following executed attestation: “By signing this report, I certify to the best of my knowledge and belief that the report is true, complete, and accurate, and the expenditures, disbursements and cash receipts are for the purposes and objectives set forth in the terms and conditions of the Federal Award. I am aware that any false, fictitious, or fraudulent information, or the omission of any material fact, may subject me to criminal, civil or administrative penalties for fraud, false statements, false claims or otherwise.   • FEDERAL COMPLIANCE Contractor agrees to comply with all federal statutes relating to nondiscrimination, labor standards, and environmental compliance. Additionally, for work to be performed under the Agreement or subcontract thereof, including procurement of materials or leases of equipment, Contractor shall notify each potential subcontractor or supplier of the Contractor's federal compliance obligations.   • FEDERAL AND STATE TAX The County is exempt from Federal and State Sales and Use Taxes for tangible personal property (Certificate of Registry for tax transactions under Chapter 32, Internal Revenue Code and Florida Sales/Use Tax Exemption Certificate). The Manager, Procurement Division will sign an exemption certificate submitted by the Contractor. Contractors doing business with the County shall not be exempted from paying sales tax to their suppliers for materials to fulfill contractual obligations with the County, nor shall any Contractor be authorized to use the County’s Tax Exemption Number in securing such materials.

  • Federal and State Standards It is the intent of the Department that all specifications herein are in full and complete compliance with all federal and State of Florida laws, requirements, and regulations applicable to the type and class of Commodities being provided. This includes, but is not limited to: Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (“FMVSS”), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (“OSHA”), Environmental Protection Agency (“EPA”) Standards, and State of Florida laws, requirements, and regulations that apply to the type and class of Commodities being provided. In addition, the Contractor is responsible for complying with any applicable federal or State legislation that becomes effective during the term of the Contract upon the legislation’s effectiveness. The Contractor shall meet or exceed any such requirements of the laws and regulations. If an apparent conflict exists, the Contractor, regardless of whether it’s the Manufacturer or Dealer, shall contact the DMS Contract Manager immediately.

  • Federal Certifications Grantee further certifies that, to the extent federal certifications are incorporated into the Grant Agreement, the Grantee has reviewed the federal certifications and that Grantee is in compliance with all requirements. In addition, Grantee certifies that it is in compliance with all applicable federal laws, rules, and regulations, as they may pertain to this Grant Agreement.

  • Federal and State Laws In the event that any provision of this Agreement should be modified or deleted to conform to any federal or state law or regulation, or any order, determination or ruling or regulation of a federal or state administrative agency or court, the Company shall notify the Union in writing. Negotiations shall then take place if requested by the Union. In the event of such negotiations, the changes proposed by the Company shall not be implemented until (a) agreement is reached, or (b) the Company determines that timely action is required by the law, regulation, order, determination or ruling, which ever occurs sooner.

  • Federal Holidays The Employee shall be entitled to federal holidays per calendar year. This is subject to change by the Employer from time to time. If for any reason the Employee should request a Federal Holiday off, the Employer shall determine if the Employee may do so and if it shall be taken from either the Employee’s Personal Leave or Vacation Time. Federal Holidays are determined by the Employer and may change every calendar year.
