Federal and State Immigration Laws. Contractor agrees to comply with the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 (IRCA) in performance under this Agreement and to permit the City and its agents to inspect applicable personnel records to verify such compliance as permitted by law. Contractor will ensure and keep appropriate records to demonstrate that all Contractor personnel have a legal right to live and work in the United States.

Federal and State Immigration Laws. Agency agrees to comply with the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 (IRCA) in performance under this Agreement and to permit the City and its agents to inspect applicable personnel records to verify such compliance as permitted by law. Agency will ensure and keep appropriate records to demonstrate that all Agency personnel have a legal right to live and work in the United States.
Federal and State Immigration Laws. In accordance with A.R.S. § 41-4401, each party hereby warrants its compliance with all federal immigration laws and regulations that relate to its employees and A.R.S. § 23- 214(A). If either party uses any subcontractors in performance of this contract, subcontractors shall warrant their compliance with all federal immigration laws and regulations that relate to their employees and A.R.S. § 23-214(A). A breach of this warranty shall be deemed a material breach of the contract subject to penalties up to and including termination of this contract. Each party retains the legal right to inspect the papers of the other and its subcontractors who work on the contract to ensure that it or its subcontractors are complying with this warranty.

  • FEDERAL AND STATE TAX The County is exempt from Federal and State Sales and Use Taxes for tangible personal property (Certificate of Registry for tax transactions under Chapter 32, Internal Revenue Code and Florida Sales/Use Tax Exemption Certificate). The Manager, Procurement Division will sign an exemption certificate submitted by the Contractor. Contractors doing business with the County shall not be exempted from paying sales tax to their suppliers for materials to fulfill contractual obligations with the County, nor shall any Contractor be authorized to use the County’s Tax Exemption Number in securing such materials.

  • Federal and State Standards It is the intent of the Department that all specifications herein are in full and complete compliance with all federal and State of Florida laws, requirements, and regulations applicable to the type and class of Commodities being provided. This includes, but is not limited to: Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (“FMVSS”), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (“OSHA”), Environmental Protection Agency (“EPA”) Standards, and State of Florida laws, requirements, and regulations that apply to the type and class of Commodities being provided. In addition, the Contractor is responsible for complying with any applicable federal or State legislation that becomes effective during the term of the Contract upon the legislation’s effectiveness. The Contractor shall meet or exceed any such requirements of the laws and regulations. If an apparent conflict exists, the Contractor, regardless of whether it’s the Manufacturer or Dealer, shall contact the DMS Contract Manager immediately.

  • Data Protection Laws those laws applicable to the processing of personal data in the relevant jurisdictions, including but not limited to the General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679.
