FARES AND TRAVELLING ALLOWANCES. (a) The following fares and travelling time allowance shall be paid to an FTM working on a construction site within the prescribed radii of the GPO in each capital city or where appropriate the Central Post Office of the nearest Regional Centre or from accommodation arranged by the Company: $ Per day New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland and ACT - within a 50 kilometre radius 15.40 South Australia and Tasmania (other than provided for below) - within a 30 kilometre radius 14.20 South Australia - Air-conditioning industry within a 50 kilometre radius 15.40 Lift industry (NSW, Vic, Qld, ACT, SA and Tas) - within a 50 kilometre radius 15.40 WA Perth (within 50km radius) 13.80 (b) Provided that payment is only made: • When the FTM starts and finishes work on site at the usual start and finish times • It is not payable if the FTM is absent from work for any reason • If the Company or its client doesn’t provide transport for the FTM to the site or accommodation at the site. (Provided that in WA if transport is provided the FTM will be paid half of the amount specified in (a)) • If the FTM is required to start or finish work in a workshop, yard or depot other than on a construction site
