Family Medical Leave Act Compliance. Family and medical leave for employees shall be governed by the provisions of the Federal Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), as may be amended from time to time. Nothing in this section is intended to extend to an employee rights or benefits not provided in the FMLA.
Family Medical Leave Act Compliance. 9.6.1 As set forth in federal and state law, unit members with 12 months of service and 1250 hours worked in the preceding year of the leave, are eligible for unpaid time off for qualifying reasons under the Family Medical Leave Act, the California Family Rights Act and the Pregnancy Disability Act. These qualifying reasons include: pregnancy disability, parental leave/bonding leave and serious health condition of self or family member or The School will comply with all aspects of these laws as they apply to unit members. Except as outlined in the articles below, all regulations outlined in these Federal and State laws will apply to unit members requesting leave.
Family Medical Leave Act Compliance. The Employer will comply with all provisions of state and federal law with respect to family and medical leave. Alleged violations of these leave provisions shall be submitted to the grievance procedure set forth herein, and in accordance with Family Medical Leave laws. Family Medical Leave shall be consistent with and subject to the conditions and limitations set forth by any applicable state law. If an employee is eligible for FMLA, a leave of absence without pay shall be granted for a period of up to twelve (12) weeks for the following reasons during any calendar year:
