Common use of Family Illness Leave Clause in Contracts

Family Illness Leave. Teachers shall be allowed up to seven (7) paid leave days per year in case of serious illness or accident involving a member of the teacher's immediate family. A teacher shall be allowed to accumulate up to thirty (30) paid leave days for the sole purpose of giving care in the event of an extended illness or injury of an immediate family member.
