FAMILY ILLNESS DAY. All teachers shall be allowed one (1) family illness day with full pay per school year for use due to illness in the immediate family as defined herein above under subsection B.1. The unused family illness day shall not be accumulated from year to year.

FAMILY ILLNESS DAY. In each school year, the Superintendent shall receive no less than two (2) family illness days in accordance with the AdministratorsBenefit Schedule. The number of family illness days granted to the Superintendent via the Administrators’ Benefit Schedule shall never be lower than two (2) days per year, but may in the Board’s sole discretion be greater than two (2) days per year. For purposes of this Contract, “family illness” is defined by the Administrators’ Benefit Schedule. If there are any remaining family illness days at the end of the school year, the remaining days will be forfeited.
FAMILY ILLNESS DAY. Beginning 7/1/05, Full-Time employees are permitted one (1) day per year for illness of spouse, child, or parent of employee. Family illness does not accumulate.

  • Business Day For purposes of these By-Laws, “Business Day” shall mean any day other than a Saturday, a Sunday or a day on which banking institutions in the State of New York are authorized or obligated by law or executive order to close.

  • Day Unless otherwise stated, reference to the terms "day," "days," "month," or "months" mean calendar day, calendar days, calendar month, and calendar months, respectively.

  • Holiday Falling on a Scheduled Workday‌ A team member who works on a designated holiday which is a scheduled workday shall be compensated at the rate of double-time for hours worked, plus a day off in lieu of the holiday; except for Christmas and New Year's when the compensation shall be at the rate of double-time and one-half for hours worked, plus a day off in lieu of the holiday. The scheduling of the lieu day shall be in accordance with Appendix 4.

  • Duty Day Duty Day shall mean a day included in the university calendar or individual faculty member's appointment on which a faculty member engages in duties as described in this Agreement.

  • Work on a Paid Holiday A) Regular Employee

  • Holiday Falling on a Day of Rest (a) When a paid holiday falls on an employee's day of rest, the employee shall be entitled to a day off with pay in lieu.

  • Sunday Premium All hours worked by an Employee on Sunday, shall be paid for on the basis of one and one-half (1½) times the Employee’s Regular Rate of Pay. For the purpose of this Section, Sunday shall be deemed to be the twenty-four (24) hours beginning with the shift change hour nearest to 12:01 a.m.

  • Holiday Falling on Saturday or Sunday For an employee whose normal workweek is from Monday to Friday and when any of the above-noted holidays falls on a Saturday and is not proclaimed as being observed on another day, the following Monday will be deemed to be the holiday. When a holiday falls on a Sunday and it is not proclaimed as being observed on another day, the following Monday (or Tuesday, where the preceding section already applies), will be deemed to be the holiday for the purpose of this agreement.

  • Christmas Day Easter Tuesday shall be observed as a Public Holiday in lieu of Easter Saturday and any work performed on Easter Saturday shall be paid at ordinary Saturday penalty rates. Should Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Years Day, Australia Day or ANZAC day fall on a weekend, the following Monday, or other day as agreed shall be taken in lieu.
