Family Emergency Leave. (a) An employee who is required to tend to a family member as defined below for urgent or medical reasons may request a maximum of two (2) employer paid family days in any oneone (1) calendar year for such absence. The employee shall request such leave from their immediate supervisor citing the relationship of the family member and the nature of the reason for which the leave is being requested.

(a) 4.1 An employee who is required to tend to a family member as defined below for urgent or medical reasons may request use a maximum of two three (23) employer paid family days in any oneone (1) calendar year for such absence. Family member is defined in 4.2. The employee shall request such leave from their immediate supervisor and/or designate citing the relationship of the family member. Human Resources may request the nature of the medical reason for which the leave is being requested.
