Falling on Days of Rest. 14.2.1 When any of the above holidays fall on a Saturday and is not proclaimed as being observed on some other day the following Monday shall be deemed to be a holiday.

Falling on Days of Rest. If any of the holidays listed in Article 15.1 falls on a Saturday or Sunday and is not proclaimed as being observed on some other days, it shall normally be observed on the first working day(s) following the weekend.
Falling on Days of Rest. When a public holiday falls on a Saturday or Sunday another day off with pay shall be granted in lieu of the holiday. It may be scheduled to run continuously with the employee's regular days off. The day off in lieu shall be treated as a public holiday for the purpose of this Agreement as it applies to that employee.

  • Holiday Falling on a Day of Rest (a) When a paid holiday falls on an employee's day of rest, the employee shall be entitled to a day off with pay in lieu.

  • Holiday Falling on a Scheduled Workday‌ A team member who works on a designated holiday which is a scheduled workday shall be compensated at the rate of double-time for hours worked, plus a day off in lieu of the holiday; except for Christmas and New Year's when the compensation shall be at the rate of double-time and one-half for hours worked, plus a day off in lieu of the holiday. The scheduling of the lieu day shall be in accordance with Appendix 4.

  • Holiday Falling on a Scheduled Workday An Employee who works on a designated holiday which is a scheduled workday shall be compensated at the rate of double time for hours worked, plus a day off in lieu of the holiday; except for Christmas and New Year's when the compensation shall be at the rate of double time and one-half (2½) for hours worked, plus a day off subject to this Agreement.

  • Compensation for Holidays Falling on Scheduled Days Off 1. When a holiday falls on a full-time employee's regularly scheduled day off, the employee shall receive eight (8) hours of compensatory time.

  • Loading on Annual Leave During a period of annual leave an employee will receive a loading calculated on the rate of wage prescribed by subclause 7.1.3. The loading shall be as follows:
