Fall and Spring Semesters i. Students/Residents may move into their assigned room on their assigned move-in date when the residential facilities open each semester. Only members of student groups and organizations authorized by the Director of Residential Life to return to campus and occupy their rooms before the posted opening date, will be permitted to move their possessions into or occupy the rooms prior to these dates. All graduating seniors must vacate their main campus residence hall rooms by 12:00 p.m. the day after commencement.
Fall and Spring Semesters. The housing fee per Semester is $3,450 for a single occupancy room and range from $3,150 to $3,300 for a double occupancy room depending on suite configuration. All students living in the residence hall must choose a meal plan ranging in cost from $890 - $1,300 per semester. The housing and meal plan fees are payable, in full, on or before August 1, 2012 for the Fall Semester, and on or before January 3, 2013 for the Spring Semester. Without limiting the DCC Association’s absolute right to terminate this Agreement at any time as described above, the DCC Association may terminate this License Agreement in the event that Resident fails to make any payment on or before the date due. If Resident intends to pay for housing, meal plan, tuition and fees with financial aid, he/she should file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) as soon as possible with respect to the 2012– 2013 academic year. Any balance due after estimated aid is applied, or deferred against financial aid, must be paid by August 1, 2012 with respect to the Fall Semester and January 3, 2013 with respect to the Spring Semester. If Resident’s payment for housing includes approved financial aid, he/she will be fully obligated to pay the balance of any housing and meal plan fees remaining as a result of financial aid not materializing or being forfeited (as a result of withdrawals, drops, failure to meet academic progress requirements, or other reasons). The housing/security deposit is not considered advance payment of the housing fee. The deposit will be retained by the DCC Association until Resident first occupies his or her assigned room, after which time it will serve as a security deposit to be retained by the DCC Association as security against (a) damage to the Residence Hall or furnishings and
