Fair Labour Practices. The employer undertakes to consider using services, products and other materials necessary to the proper functioning of the hotel, which are manufactured, provided or produced under fair labour conditions. An Arbitrator shall have no jurisdiction to entertain any grievance arising out of the provisions of this Letter of Understanding.

Fair Labour Practices. 7.1 The Employer and the Union agree that the labour management committee can discuss efforts by which the Employer will attempt to procure services, products and other materials which are manufactured, provided or produced under fair labour practices.
Fair Labour Practices. The Company undertakes, wherever it is possible, practical and cost- effective to procure services, products and other material which are manufactured provided or produced under fair Labour practices.
Fair Labour Practices. The Licensee acknowledges that York does not wish its names and marks to be associated with products produced under illegal or unfair labour conditions. The Licensee therefore agrees not to manufacture or imprint merchandise which has been manufactured in these conditions and agrees to exercise due diligence in avoiding such practices both in its own and in its suppliers’ workplaces. Contractor further agrees to abide by any other laws, regulations, or orders that prohibit the discrimination of any kind of any of Contractor’s employees.

  • SAFETY PRACTICES (a) The employer will take reasonable measures to prevent and eliminate any present or potential job hazards which the employees may encounter at their places of work.

  • PRINCIPLES OF GOOD EMPLOYMENT PRACTICE The Supplier shall, and shall procure that each Sub-Contractor shall, comply with any requirement notified to it by the Customer relating to pensions in respect of any Transferring Former Supplier Employee as set down in: the Cabinet Office Statement of Practice on Staff Transfers in the Public Sector of January 2000, revised 2007; HM Treasury's guidance “Staff Transfers from Central Government: A Fair Deal for Staff Pensions of 1999; HM Treasury's guidance: “Fair deal for staff pensions: procurement of Bulk Transfer Agreements and Related Issues” of June 2004; and/or the New Fair Deal. Any changes embodied in any statement of practice, paper or other guidance that replaces any of the documentation referred to in Paragraph 5.1 shall be agreed in accordance with the Variation Procedure.
