FAI. To the extent permitted by law during the Term FAI shall not as principal agent or otherwise (and shall procure that its Related Bodies Corporate do not) directly or indirectly purchase any security alarm product which is substantially similar to the Product except to the extent that FAI is permitted to do so pursuant to this Agreement.
FAI. 5.4.17.1 The supplier will conduct First Article Inspection (FAI) on critical components. List of critical components will be supplied by SolarEdge QA per each product or group of products. The FAI will cover the functional, environmental, reliability testing as well as RoHS certification and dimensional analysis, when applicable Production Parts Approval Process (PPAP) will be completed as part of the FAI.
FAI. FAI will comply with each applicable requirement for Standard Transactions established in 45 Code of Federal Regulations Part 162 when conducting all or any part of a Standard Transaction electronically for, on behalf of, or with Plan.
FAI. Accepted and signed FAI by both parties is mandatory to start series production. FAI samples represent the final approved product by Materialise and Lift Aircraft. FAI samples are created when a new product is introduced in the Certified Manufacturing production line of Materialise. Certified Manufacturing can only pursue based on an agreement on the quality of the FAI samples. An order placed withol!t an agreement on FAI samples will be considered Non-Certified Manufacturing process and a written permission from Lift Aircraft is required to process the order. There will be no quality guarantees provided by Materialise on Non-Certified Manufacturing. Materialise nv │ Technologielaan 15 │ 3001 Leuven │ Belgium │ ixxx@xxxxxxxxxxx.xxx │ mxxxxxxxxxx.xxx The procedure of creating new FAI parts starts with adding the product well-defined to the product portfolio, testing the product in a Certified Manufacturing line and aligning on pricing, lead times and quality between Lift Aircraft and Materialise. This procedure will take minimum 2 weeks till multiple months depending on the scope of the new product. Quality requirements articulated by Lift Aircraft and the feedback from Materialise manufacturing and quality team will be evaluated based on the FAI samples during a mutual FAI check. Prior to FAI sample production, all final quallty requirements will be agreed and documented in FGE-DEV-002 Technical requirement specification sheet (attached hereto as Attachment 2). This document needs to be signed by both parties before any FAI production can start. The FAI samples which are approved during the FAI check and which are in line with the quality requirements are documented in the FAI.
FAI. A First Article Inspection compliant with AS9102 (latest revision) is required with all First Article Inspections. In the event of changes requiring a new FAI be performed per the conditions in AS9102, the new FAI must also be submitted to CIC with the shipment affected. An electronic copy is acceptable in lieu of paper copies.
FAI. Documented First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) shall be submitted to Buyer Quality prior to the beginning of production. The FAIR must be based on AS9102, except the forms must be the actual forms shown on the spec. Equivalent forms are not acceptable. The FAI we perform is only a courtesy check and not to be considered a complete check. The FAI check does not relieve the seller of any responsibility to deliver conforming product. The FAI part will be returned to the supplier and, if the part was found to be acceptable, can ship it back with the next scheduled shipment of parts.
