Factors and Definitions. 1. Evaluation rating – The teacher received a highly effective or effective evaluation for the prior year, except that a teacher who is in the first two full school years of instructing students who receives an evaluation rating of improvement necessary is eligible for a base salary increase. Teachers who receive an evaluation rating of Ineffective or Improvement Necessary on their 2016-2017 evaluation will not be eligible for a base salary increase and shall remain at their 2016-2017 base salary.
