Facility Closed. (A) When the decision to close a facility is made before the start of a shift, the Company will try to notify employees not to report to work. An employee who misses work due to a facility closure will be paid for the regular scheduled hours missed for the first day. After the facility has been closed, the Company will determine when the facility can expect to reopen and how pay and/or make-up hours will be handled.

Facility Closed. If the paid holiday falls on a Saturday or Sunday and the following Monday (or Tuesday) is observed as per 16.02(a) and the University facility is closed, an employee who is regularly scheduled to work on the Saturday or Sunday may instead take a day off without pay or as a charge to earned time off or vacation time.

Facility Closed a. When the decision to close a facility is made before the start of a shift, the Company will try to notify employees not to report to work. An employee who misses work due to a facility closure will be paid for the hours missed on the employee’s first scheduled work day during the facility closure. Employees will be able to use vacation, deferred or floating holidays to make up for regularly scheduled hours missed on the second and subsequent days during the facility closure. Employees may also choose to make up regularly scheduled shifts missed within the period up to a maximum of thirty (30) days following closure of a facility as mutually agreed to by the employee and his supervisor. After the facility has been closed, the Company will determine when the facility can expect to reopen and notify all affected employees.

  • Christmas Closedown 15.1 It is agreed that whenever annual leave is taken in conjunction with the Christmas/New Year period (as per Calendar in sub-clause 2.11), it is to be taken in accordance with the following procedure.

In such circumstances, the University shall have no liability to me in any way for injuries, reimbursement, damages, inconvenience, annoyance or compensation of any kind. The University may attempt to find, but cannot guarantee, an alternative space for me. If the unavailability of my Room or an alternative space persists for more than 72 hours, I may terminate this Agreement and Check out during said unavailability without penalty provided that I shall be responsible for all financial obligations incurred up to the date of such termination. The University agrees to provide me with a pro rata refund, calculated from the date of such termination to the end of the Agreement Period, of any prepaid housing and dining payment made to the University, and to return my Deposit pursuant to this Agreement. Upon resumption of standard operations, Agreement Termination requirements and charges will apply as described in Section XIV.

  • Availability Control Personal Data will be protected against accidental or unauthorized destruction or loss. Measures: • SAP employs regular backup processes to provide restoration of business-critical systems as and when necessary. • SAP uses uninterrupted power supplies (for example: UPS, batteries, generators, etc.) to protect power availability to the Data Centers. • SAP has defined business contingency plans for business-critical processes and may offer disaster recovery strategies for business critical Services as further set out in the Documentation or incorporated into the Order Form for the relevant Cloud Service. • Emergency processes and systems are regularly tested.

  • School Closure The School shall make reasonable efforts to promptly notify the public, which may include notice to the Department of Education, of any circumstance requiring the closure of the School, including, but not limited to, a natural disaster, such as an earthquake, storm, tsunami, flood, or other weather-related event, other extraordinary emergency, or destruction of or damage to the School facility;

  • Financial Close 23.1.1 The Concessionaire hereby agrees and undertakes that it shall achieve Financial Close within 180 (one hundred and eighty) days from the date of this Agreement and in the event of delay, it shall be entitled to a further period not exceeding 120 (one hundred and twenty) days, subject to payment of Damages to the Authority in a sum calculated at the rate of 0.2% (zero point two per cent) of the Performance Security for each day of delay, and for a further period not exceeding 80 (eighty) days, subject to payment of Damages at the rate specified in Clause 4.3; provided that the Damages specified herein shall be payable every week in advance and the period beyond the said 180 (one hundred and eighty) days shall be granted only to the extent of Damages so paid; provided further that no Damages shall be payable if such delay in Financial Close has occurred solely as a result of any default or delay by the Authority in procuring satisfaction of the Conditions Precedent specified in Clause 4.1.2 or due to Force Majeure. For the avoidance of doubt, the Damages payable hereunder by the Concessionaire shall be in addition to the Damages, if any, due and payable under the provisions of Clause 4.3.

  • School-Initiated Closure Should the School choose to voluntarily surrender this Contract before the end of the Contract term, it may do so in consultation with the Commission at the close of any school year and upon written notice to the Commission given at least ninety (90) days before the end of the school year.
