Extra Duty Stipend Schedule for the 2019-2022 Contract Period (Appendix A-1) All Extra Duty Stipend positions are considered voluntary and temporary. There is no assumption that personnel will continue from year to year. The District will have the right to select whomever the District deems will work best in any extra-duty non-athletic position, including but not limited to non-bargaining unit members from the community. It is understood by the District and the Association that the District will first seek to fill extra-duty positions from its staff before looking to the community to fill such positions. The 2022-2023 Extra Duty Stipend Schedule has been revised to include a reorganization of the type of work that qualifies for a stipend, added Expanded Learning Opportunities Program Duties paid at the teacher’s per diem rate, and increased the Hourly Duties rate to $35 per hour. Extra Duty Stipend Schedule. The extra-duty stipend schedule reflecting the Board of Education approved list of extra-curricular assignments will be aligned regarding placement of various extra-curricular assignments in order to reflect position and time spent to adequately fulfill that position (Appendix I). The stipend schedule will be updated annually to reflect increases approved within this agreement. The Board of Education retains the option to employ at-will, non-certified individuals at any time in non- instructional supervisory positions at undetermined rates of compensation. Certified personnel recruited by the administration for non-instructional supervisory positions will reflect the hourly compensation rate of $20.00 per hour for the duration of the contract agreement. The positions can include, but may not be limited to, such positions as lunch or recess duty. In the event no junior high teacher accepts the stipend for junior high Response to Intervention (RTI), the administration will resort to assigning RTI services to staff.

Activities in this category can be dropped or added from year to year depending on educator expertise and student interest.
Extra Duty Stipend Schedule. The extra-duty stipend schedule for teachers shall be as set forth in Appendix B, which is attached to and incorporated into this Agreement. Extra-duty stipends shall be added to the teacher's salary and shall be included in compensation every pay period during such period as the teacher is performing the extra duty or as is otherwise appropriate for the extra-duty position. Stipends shall not be paid to any teacher for the duration of a leave of absence or while otherwise unable to perform the stipend duties for a continuous period of time.

  • Unit Weekend Schedule A unit weekend schedule may be developed in order to meet the Hospital’s need for weekend staff, and individual nurses’ preference for a weekend work schedule. A unit weekend schedule is defined as a schedule in which a full-time nurse works a weekly average of thirty (30) hours and is paid for 37.5 hours at her or his regular straight time hourly rate. The schedule must include two 11.25 hour tours, which fall within a weekend period as determined by the Hospital and the Association. A nurse working a weekend schedule will work every weekend except as provided for in the provisions below. If the Hospital and the Association agree to a unit weekend schedule, the introduction of that schedule and the manner in which the position(s) are filled, shall be determined by the local parties and recorded in the Appendix of Local Provisions. This unit schedule may be discontinued by either party with notice as determined within the Appendix of Local Provisions. The opportunity for an individual nurse to discontinue this schedule shall be resolved by the local parties:

  • Weekend Scheduling It is the policy of the Employer to schedule those nurses who so desire every other weekend off, with the exception of those nurses who have signed an authorization to work consecutive weekends. Nurses who have volunteered to work consecutive weekends may withdraw such authorization upon two (2) weeks’ written notice prior to the date a new schedule must be posted.

  • Second Schedule Second Schedule THIS AGREEMENT under seal made the twenty-seventh day of October One thousand nine hundred and sixty-four BETWEEN THE HONOURABLE XXXXX XXXXX, M.L.A.   • Shift Schedules 1501 Shift schedules for a minimum of a four (4) week period shall be posted at least two (2) weeks in advance of the beginning of the scheduled period. Shifts within the minimum four (4) week period shall not be altered after posting except by mutual agreement between the nurse(s) concerned and the Employer. Requests for specific days off duty shall be submitted in writing at least two (2) weeks prior to posting and granted, if possible in the judgment of the Employer. 1502 Requests for interchanges in posted shifts or a portion thereof shall also be submitted in writing, co-signed by the nurse willing to exchange shifts with the applicant. Where reasonably possible, interchanges in posted shifts are to be completed within the posted shift schedule. It is understood that any change in shifts or days off initiated by the nurses and approved by the Employer shall not result in overtime costs to the Employer. 1503 Night shift shall be considered as the first shift of each calendar day. 1504 Master rotations for each nursing unit shall be planned by the Employer in meaningful consultation with the nurse(s) concerned. The process for meaningful consultation shall include:  Employer proposes a master rotation including the Employer established criteria and provides to Nurses concerned  Nurses are provided reasonable time to submit feedback and/or an alternate master rotation for consideration.  The amended or new master rotation is provided to Nurses for review. Nurses are provided with a reasonable time to submit feedback.  At each step of the consultation process the Union will be provided with the new or revised master rotation to ensure contract compliance.  Employer has the sole discretion to select the new master rotation and provides rationale for the selection. Master Rotations shall, unless otherwise mutually agreed between the nurse(s) concerned and the Employer, observe the conditions listed hereinafter:

  • Contractor Personnel – Reference Checks The Contractor warrants that all persons employed to provide service under this Contract have satisfactory past work records indicating their ability to adequately perform the work under this Contract. Contractor’s employees assigned to this project must meet character standards as demonstrated by background investigation and reference checks, coordinated by the agency/department issuing this Contract.

  • NOTICE TO PROCEED AND SCHEDULE The CONSULTANT shall begin the work to be performed under this Contract only upon receipt of the written notice to proceed from the LPA, and shall deliver the work to the LPA in accordance with the schedule contained in Appendix "C" which is herein attached to and made an integral part of this Contract.

  • Extended Tours/Hybrid Schedules The Employer and the Union may agree to implement extended tours or hybrid schedule (mix of extended and normal tours). For clarity, a hybrid schedule may include extended tours on weekends and normal tours during the week. The following will apply:

  • Hours of Work and Scheduling Provisions (b) In the event an Employee is scheduled to work on the evening or night Shift(s) on the day(s) or the night Shift commencing on the day(s) on which the Employee is called as a juror or witness in matters arising out of the Employee’s employment with the Employer, the Employee shall be granted a leave of absence for those scheduled Shift(s).
